While the coat itself was in good, wearable condition, the trousers and vest both needed repair work. This consisted of simply restitching the lining for the vest, but the trousers needed the waistband reset in a few places, the lining tacked back down, and the repair of a worrying tear in the outer fashion fabric along the left-hand pocket. Overall, not bad at all for a suit made in 1934.
